Starting blog.

I’ve been interested in blogging around 2 years now. It all started with Instagram. Following popular fashions bloggers and fashions brands, keeping my eyes open on what’s new and popular. The idea of being a fashion blogger was like my biggest dream. I was thinking about it 24/7 for around 10 months and kept having these ideas of how I could make my own blog.

For me it is very simple in everything. I don’t tend to plan something step by step and then follow the plan. Something comes to my mind, I figure out how to do it, and I just go for it, without thinking of where the road might take me at the end.
So this is exactly what happened with blogging. I started with getting my own website and email, and changed my usernames in Instagram and twitter so on every platform people can find me easily. I personally can’t stand when people have different usernames in every platform (especially someone more popular).
Then I went out and simply took pictures of my outfits. I was lucky enough to have a bit of travelling which I found perfect at the start.
In few months I sold my old camera, bought a new one and also coloured my room walls in white, because I knew that I would make a lot of use with it. It’s so much more simple to colour white walls, than to buy a white background with a huge pole, and make it ready whenever I want to take a simple picture.

Research on websites
I did my research about what type of website I should have and which platform I should use (Blogger/Blogspot or WordPress), but since most of people are using WordPress, I just kind of went blind with it, without even researching on Blogger/Blogspot platform.
Blogger platform is easier to navigate and control, especially for beginners who don’t have much of a knowledge of the blogging platforms.

If you have decided to create a blog I could recommend looking at Pipdig templates. They are not too costy and the themes are very clean and lovely.

Followers and traffic.
All you have to do is to create a good content, and everything else should happen by itself.
The only thing to remember is that you will not have lots of followers and earnings from it flowing to your account straight away. It takes a long time (at least 2 years) for your blog to be more recognisable, so you have to just have to keep going with nothing but determination and passion.

Most of my creativity goes into photography and writing. It is not something I find easy but it’s still enjoyable, especially when it comes to finishing off a blog post.
Creating my own identity is important, and I chose doing that by putting together my own sense of style.
You can also simply share inspirational imagery, but it is much harder to create one yourself, although I would still advise to make your own and be original.
Not only it is a great hobby but it will establish your own voice and uniqueness.

Just go for it and try!
Everything about it sounds good, but if you don’t try then you will never know what it is like to have your own blog and voice. I am glad that I am not one of those people that just talks about wanting to do something and never really does. I started.
